From the Alfred Kiess construction carpenters to an exclusive interior design specialist
The history of our company began back in 1912, around 100 years ago, when Christian Günther set up his carpentry shop of the same name in Stuttgart-Möhringen. Alfred Kiess Senior took over the shop and in turn handed it on to his son, Alfred Kiess Junior, in 1962. The latter was quick to recognise the market potential for high-quality interior and systematically built up technical and personnel resources to cater to this demand. Alfred Kiess Junior was above all responsible for developing the business areas of interior design for private individuals and commercial properties.
In 2005, Alfred Kiess handed over management responsibility to his son Tilo Kiess and Wolfgang Rosskopf, both of them graduate engineers in wood technology. The Kiess company is today active in the fields of interior design, elevator interiors, yacht interiors and trade fair construction. In response to ever-growing demand, project planning and engineering services have been added to the classic portfolio of production services.
